In Kauri we have been doing lots of Folk Dancing. We learnt to hold hands, learn moves and count at the same time! I enjoyed it heaps. It was difficult when you had to go ‘slap, hands together and clap’.

On Friday the 9th of September we went to Mt Hutt. Kauri and some of the Year 6, 7 and 8s went too. We had a lesson at 12:00pm. After that we had to go home. When we got to school it was pretty dark because it was about 6:00pm. Today I learnt to stop and ski down the mountain. I found it difficult to stop. I am very proud of myself.
