THE MEGA AIR trip

On the last Saturday of school holidays I went to Mega Air it was amazing.

I went  with my Mum and my Grammar we went in my Grammar’s car. I saw Jedi and I got a yellow wristband. It was fantastic some flips and I bounced off the wall onto the ground but then I hurt my heel. After that I got a drink my Mum paid it was $4.99 dollars just for a power aid. After that I went home.

I was so so so so happy my Mum felt happy and my Grammar was to.

We had a great day at Mega Air.

In Kauri we have been doing lots of Folk Dancing. We learnt to hold hands, learn moves and count at the same time! I enjoyed it heaps. It was difficult when you had to go ‘slap, hands together and clap’.

On Friday the 9th of September we went to Mt Hutt. Kauri and some of the Year 6, 7 and 8s went too. We had a lesson at 12:00pm. After that we had to go home. When we got to school it was pretty dark because it was about 6:00pm. Today I learnt to stop and ski down the mountain. I found it difficult to stop. I am very proud of myself.

This week, the story tellers have been writing narrative stories. Enjoy!

A princess and a king Once upon a time there was a princess who lived in a kingdom. One day a princess came to a new kingdom and a king tried to kiss her. The princess ran away from the King. The king ran after her. Then the princess stops running and fainted. The king caught up to her and saw that she had fainted and took her to the hospital. In the end the princess had sprained her ankle but was not badly hurt. The princess was on crutches for 5 days. The king went back to his kingdom, and he didn’t chase the princess ever again.
